“ We came for breakfast on bank holiday Sunday. It was amazing! The lady serving us said that she didn’t do full breakfasts, only baps, but anything you could want in a bap was available, and it was delicious. Very reasonably priced too, and the lady (sorry I didn’t catch her name) was lovely and very accommodating. ”
“ Absolutely lovely, came to warm ourselves up and have breakfast, one of the best I had. I went for the big one and it was more than I expected but too good not to eat everything :D Feels more like coming to someone's house than to a cafe, very friendly too ”
“ Lovely, warm welcome, great coffee and cakes. Very accommodating of my 93 year old mam. ”
“ My favourite cafe. Warm welcome lovely food great service as usual. Thanks Janet. ”
“ Best cup of coffee and cake I've had in a long time. Lovely owner with a great selection of hot and cold food and drink available. ”
“ Great value, home cooked, locally sourced produce with a warming atmosphere (not just from the log fire). We visited for breakfast which perfectly fuelled our walk up to Staward Peel. Shop is suitably stocked with essentials and local goods. Will hopefully drop by again soon. ”
“ Tasty homemade sandwiches and cakes. Made for a good bike pit stop ”
“ A proper, local, village shop with a cafe as part of it. Most excellent home made cakes, scones and hot food (including, of course, my standard of the bacon, sausage and egg sandwich). Will definitely be heading back there again! Pro tip: it closes at 1300 on a Sunday, so go early and don't get caught out! ”
